How do I get started with therapy?
You can begin by reaching out through the contact form on the website, email, or phone. From there, we’ll schedule a brief consultation to discuss your needs, answer questions, and determine whether we’re a good fit for working together.What can I expect during the first session?
The first session is focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and discussing your goals. We’ll review background information, current concerns, and begin creating a plan tailored to your needs and comfort level. -
How often will we meet?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and momentum. Frequency can be adjusted over time depending on your goals, needs, and progress.How do I schedule or reschedule appointments?
Appointments can be scheduled through the client portal or by contacting the provider directly. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 12 hours notice with the exception of emergencies to avoid a feeCan I contact you between sessions?
Yes. Communication for scheduling or administrative needs is welcome through email or text. Therapy-related concerns are typically best addressed during session but we know life happens, so clients are free to reach out when they need support. -

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills (emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness)

Services are collaborative and individualized, with approaches adjusted based on your goals, comfort level, and what feels most helpful in session.
Do I have to know exactly what to talk about?
Not at all. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to make sense of what’s going on and identify meaningful goals. -
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Information shared in therapy is kept confidential except in situations required by law, such as safety concerns involving yourself or others, abuse/neglect, or court orders. -

What are your session fees?
Intake Session: $180
60-Minute Individual Session: $165
Couples/Family Session: $180
Sliding scale options may be available based on financial need and availability.
When are copays and payments due?
Copays are typically collected overnight through the secure client portal and are expected to be paid at the time of service unless otherwise discussed in advance.What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payments are accepted through the secure client portal. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made beforehand. -
What if I am experiencing a mental health emergency?
This practice does not provide 24/7 crisis services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, please call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
